"Framing views of nothingness, forming landscapes of fragile transience."
Development of two concepts:

Sukiya
- Mu- Concept of nothingness (fragile transience)

With this concept in mind, notions of nothingness was explored with the development of a monument that is minimalist in form, and driven by ideas of fragile transience with a dominance of negative space.

Sigeru Ban
- Framing views of the landscape
The idea of framing the landscape was taken rather literally with the second monument shaped by two ambiguous windows that frame the landscape formed.
